The portal is a live and interactive interface between various S&T Departments and Agencies of Government of India (at the source end) and various State Governments (at the user end) to provide technological connectivity for developmental processes. It is an established fact that technology-enabling can fast forward the developmental processes at a rapid pace and accrue corresponding benefits to people at grassroots level to promote inclusive growth and higher user satisfaction.
Besides the S&T Departments and Agencies of Government of India and State Governments, the portal is also accessible to others like Government Agencies, Corporate, NGOs, individuals and public at large. They can access the portal for viewing the technological contents, their availability, sources and other pertaining information and miscellaneous announcements. While the interactive features of the portal will not be available to the third category of users, they may still interact directly with the concerned Departments / Agencies for further information / enquiries through the nodal contact person, outside the portal by conventional means.
Through this portal, the S&T Departments and Agencies (technology providers) can publish any new technology contents, as and when desired / ready, through their nodal person. Such contents will be displayed on the portal, after proper authentication by the moderator of the portal. The State Governments can also request their specific problems and technology needs as a challenge to S&T Establishments to work for specific technological solutions.
This portal contains contact particulars of nodal persons from each Department / Agency, who may be directly contacted for any additional information, other than what is available here.
